This concentrated serum adapts the time-honoured Mongolian routine of picking and preparing wild Nettle (Urtica Dioica) to strengthen hair roots and promote hair growth.
Enriched with botanical stimulants, nutrient-rich oils, bio-minerals, and antioxidants, it energises follicles, helps reduce shedding and promotes natural fullness and density.
A defining botanical within the Eternal Blue range, nettle has a long history of use in traditional haircare. Naturally rich in minerals, antioxidants and active plant compounds, it helps fortify the hair while supporting scalp vitality, healthy growth and hair anchorage.
Rosemary contains active antioxidant compounds, including rosmarinic acid. It helps support follicle activity and the natural hair-growth cycle for stronger, fuller hair.
Naturally rich in antioxidants, green tea helps protect the scalp and hair from environmental stressors while supporting scalp balance and healthy follicle function.
Panax ginseng is included for its revitalising properties, helping support scalp microcirculation, energise the follicles and promote overall follicle vitality.
Also known as provitamin B5, panthenol attracts and retains moisture to help maintain scalp hydration and comfort while leaving the hair feeling softer and more conditioned.
Naturally rich in phytosterols, essential fatty acids and vitamin E, pumpkin seed oil nourishes the scalp while supporting the lipid barrier and overall scalp comfort. Studied for its relationship with hormonal pathways associated with hair thinning, it plays a purposeful role in our system for supporting fuller, stronger hair.
Bio-fermented copper, zinc and manganese provide targeted mineral support, helping maintain scalp vitality and support the biological processes involved in healthy hair formation.
Concentrated botanical infusions are a more elaborate process in Mongolia: collecting water for an infusion, periodically gathering botanicals and gently simmering them for immediate or later use. Like the traditional infusions, this serum is water-based and formulated to be used as a revitalising drops when the hair demands it.
THE COMPLETE PRACTICE
Targeted intervention for scalp health and follicular longevity
Natural synergy, contemporary efficacy
We believe in adapting the best of what traditional practices have to offer through thoughtfully developed formulas made with over 95% naturally derived ingredients, with close attention to compatibility, balance, stability and performance.
At the heart of the range are five core botanical actives, chosen for their enduring role in supporting scalp and hair health. Each product is refined with complementary ingredients according to its function, creating a cohesive approach across cleansing, conditioning and targeted scalp care.
Healthy hair is shaped by the relationship between the scalp environment, follicle activity, the quality of the hair fibre and the natural cycle of growth and shedding. Rather than viewing these processes in isolation, Eternal Blue approaches them as part of an interconnected system, informing a complete approach designed to support stronger, fuller and healthier hair.
This same level of consideration extended to how the range was evaluated. The complete Eternal Blue system was independently assessed over 150 days using instrumental measurements and participant self-assessments, allowing us to examine meaningful changes across hair strength, density, growth and retention.
Thicker and stronger hair fibres
Hair fibre diameter was measured at the base using precision micrometry, while tensile strength was assessed under controlled traction. After 150 days of use, average hair fibre diameter increased by 11.3% and average tensile strength increased by 11.7% β both statistically significant results.
In self-assessment, 92.5% of participants rated the products effective for hair thickness, while 82.5% reported that their hair felt stronger and less brittle. A further 87.5% reported improved elasticity, with hair feeling more resilient and less prone to breakage.
Visibly denser hair
Hair density was assessed using phototrichogram imaging, measuring the number of terminal hairs per square centimetre.
After 150 days, average terminal hair count increased by 6.8%, while average terminal hair density increased by 6.9%, with more than half of participants showing improvement in both measures.
These instrumental density results showed positive average improvement, although they did not reach statistical significance due to variation in individual responses.
In self-assessment, 75% of participants reported that their hair appeared thicker or denser at the roots, while 90% reported improved hair growth.
Higher quality hair growth
Phototrichogram analysis measured changes in the proportion of fine vellus hairs and mature terminal hairs.
After 150 days, the average proportion of vellus hairs decreased by 9.4%, while the average proportion of terminal hairs increased by 2.1% β both statistically significant changes, indicating a shift towards healthier, more mature hair growth.
In self-assessment, 90% of participants noticed an improvement in their hair growth, while 85% rated the products effective for hair growth rate.
Reduced shedding
Hair shedding was assessed through standardised combing and washing tests, counting hairs shed from the root during dry combing. After using the full Eternal Blue set for 150 days, root-shedding decreased by 31.7% on average β a statistically significant result.
In self-assessment, 87.5% of participants rated the products effective at reducing shedding.
Clinical study
The findings presented above are based on an independent, non-comparative 150-day in-vivo clinical study of the complete Eternal Blue haircare system.
40 participants with dermatologist-confirmed telogen effluvium used the products under normal conditions over 150 days.
Changes were evaluated using phototrichogram imaging, instrumental measurements of hair fibre diameter and tensile strength, a standardised dry-combing test to assess shedding, and participant self-assessments.
The study was conducted independently by ALS Beauty & Personal Care in accordance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
